Learn more and nominate online today!  \nSCHOOL NEWS | Academic Decathlon Team Excels on State and National Stage  \nThe Oakwood High School Academic Decathlon team secured 12th place overall at the United States Academic Decathlon National competition in Garden Grove, California, following its 16th consecutive Ohio state championship.  \nCompeting against more than 60 schools, Oakwood decathletes earned 12 individual national medals. The competition challenged students across 10 events centered on the theme “The Roaring Twenties.”  \nSenior Ty Fischer led the team with four national medals, including a gold in literature with a perfect 1,000 score. As part of this effort, the City has launched a Communications Survey to better understand how residents prefer to receive news and updates about City programs, services, and events.  \nThe survey gathers feedback on a range of communication methods, including newsletters, the City website, social media, and print publications.
