effective measuresto safeguard students.  \nSyed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rah-man(Muar-Muda)expresseddeep concern over what he de-scribed as a worsening safety cri-sis in Malaysian schools.  \n\"Schools today appear to becaught in a growing safety crisisthat undermines public confi-dence in our education system.For middle-class and B40 fam-ilies,education remains the bestpath forward.  \n\"But incidents such as thedeath of Zara Qairina Mahathir,bullying cases in Johor,the gangrape of a female student and thismorning's (yesterday's)stabbing  \nTHE STAR [  \nSINAR HARIAN  \nof a 16-year-old
