BEDROOM-MORNING  \nBrynn stares at two dress options .  \nShe made them both.  \nAfter some debate, she picks one .  \nThen changes her mind and goes with the other.  \nINT . THE FAMILY ROOM-MORNING  \nIt’s clear that Brynn lives here alone . In her early twenties .  \nShe heads downstairs into her immaculately designed home . It’s decorated cutely with Halloween trinkets .  \nShe passes a LeMax halloween village of different spooky buildings which is just a liiiiittle too big .  \nShe turns their lights on and admires the little spooky world she’s made for herself proudly .  \nINT . Already addressed with incredible penmanship .  \nShe prints out a stamp herself.  \nA vintage alarm clock rings . She hits it and gathers her things .  \nEXT . FRONT YARD-DAY  \nBrynn writes a letter under a tree, lounging against the trunk.  \nDear Maude,  \nHer home is very well kept. Surrounded by thick woods .  \nThere are garden boxes of vegetables by a small shed.  \nBrynn looks up from her letter when she hears something . Turns towards the street. The sound of a car.  \nShe smiles . It’s here .  \nShe huddles against the tree, making herself small  \nSo the MAILMAN can’t see her when he pulls up to her mailbox at the end of her driveway .  \nHe chucks in some letters .  \nThen reaches into the back and pulls outA hand-wrapped BROWN BOX .  \nFor a moment, he considers putting it in the mailbox. . . But not seeing anyone around  \nHe aggressively dumps it on the ground with a smirk. Brynn hears it thump and winces as  \nThe mail truck heads further down the road.  \n3.  \nBrynn peeks to make sure the coast is clear.  \nThen gets up and hurries to her mailbox.  \nShe gently picks the box up .  \nTosses the letters under her arm .  \nAnd heads back to her home .  \nSkipping with excitement.  \nINT . THE FAMILY ROOM-MOMENTS LATER  \nShe carefully cuts open the box with scissors, finally revealing  \nAn ungodly amount of bubble wrap inside .  \nShe laughs victoriously at her flawless defeat of the mailman .  \nShe carefully reaches inside and pulls out  \nA small LeMax box of a HALLOWEEN VILLAGE BUILDING .  \nShe grins, carefully opens it so as not to ruin the packagingPlaces it proudly on its designated spot in her village .  \nINT . CLOSET-MOMENTS LATER  \nBrynn carefully places the empty box on a row of similar boxes .  \nRows of Christmas Village buildings wait their turn .  \nEXT . FRONT YARD-DAY  \nThe sun is beginning to set.  \nBrynn sets her packages in her small car.  \nShe moves over to a flower bed and carefully cuts a few stems  \nPauses when she sees a STRANGE BURNED CIRCLE in her grass and part of her flowerbed.  \nBrynn groans, looking closer.  \n4.  \nNot burned necessarily .
