Alongside countdown coverage for the Commonwealth Games, the magazine shares lifestyle prompts, reader results, and staff notes on stories across entertainment, lifestyle, and community.","Who caught our eye this week  \nShe’s a sucker for a cute calf.  \n“Get a moo-ve on!”Cow number 447 gets a little tongue-tied under the royal’s srutiny.  \nThe duchess made waves on a solo trip  \not on the heels of attending nephew-inlaw Peter Phillips’ wedding, the Duchess  \nof Edinburgh jetted off to the Channel Islands to make some history of her own!  \nSophie, 61, travelled to the island of Jersey for two days, visiting a sustainable cattle farm and a school, where she helped harvest potatoes. She also boarded a fishing vessel to watch as a pot full of lobsters was raised from the sea.  \nBut the royal’s most notable excursion was to Les Ecréhous, a group of reef islands around 10km off the coast. Despite the archipelago being Crown land, it’s believed no member of the British royal family has ever set foot on them. Locals erected a flagpole in her honour and the royal standard was raised.  \nSophie, who shares children Lady Louise, 22, and James, Earl of Wessex, 18, with her husband Prince Edward, 62, is known for her love of nature. It is one of the rarest honours in the Commonwealth, with membership limited to just 65 living people.
