They acknowledged the CPF’s efforts to address constraints to private sector activity and emphasized the need for flexibility to adapt to Namibia’s evolving development challenges and opportunities. They welcomed the establishment of the new Joint Country Representation office and encouraged efforts to mobilize concessional resources in support of the country while helping the government to diversify its economy for incomegenerating purposes.  \nDirectors encouraged the WBG to strengthen its support for the Government’s efforts to address human capital challenges, including gender equality and youth and female employment, as part of broader initiatives to improve social outcomes. Directors emphasized the importance of continued collaboration across WBG institutions to support SOEs and enhance private sector-driven growth, and address inequality through job creation, improved access to services, and engagement in health and education.
