Our school provides an excellent education under three pillars: Career education, Math and science Education and Education for Cross-cultural Understanding. About 1000 female students are deeply involved in academic and extra-curricular activities.  \nIn regards to Career Education, we provide an education that meets our students’ needs to realize their desired course after graduation. This year 139 students were accepted to national and public universities straight from our school, which is an excellent achievement.  \nAs for Math and Science Education, we have been appointed by the Ministry of Education for a third term as a“Super Science High School”, which is a high school to cultivate promising scientific and technological human resources. We conduct an annual overseas seminar and various presentations hoping to nurture scientists who are active worldwide.  \nWhen it comes to Education for Cross-cultural Understanding, we provide our students with opportunities to do research on and experience Japanese culture as part of a program where leaders with the global perspective greatly desired in the global society are developed.  \nFinally for club activities, the students are very active and some clubs , such as naginata and the chorus even proceed to national competitions.  \nWith opportunities like taking part in the Super Science activities (in their 12th year), and overseas study in the USA and Australia, in addition to club activities, our students passionately enjoy both their studies and their extracurricular activities.  \nJunior-high school students, it is certain that at Mito Daini there is something that you can become absorbed in.
