The Board of Directors ofIFC discussed the President’s Memorandum and a Report on investment to Airport Almaty in Kazakhstan and approved the investment comprising: (i) an A loan of up to US$150 million; (ii) a B1 loan of up to US$77 .8 million for the account of participants; (iii) a B2 loan of up to US$22 .2 million for the account of the participants under the Managed Co-Lending Portfolio Program (MCPP); (iv) a Trust Loan of up to US$50 million from IFC acting in its capacity as the implementing entity for the MCPP; and (v) one or more interest rate swap(s) representing loan equivalent exposure to the co-borrowers of up to approximately US$3 .5 million to hedge the interest rate risk of up to US$300 million of the project’s floatingrate senior debt. The Board of Directors also approved a waiver of paragraphs 5 and 7 of the Overview of the Performance Standards (PS), paragraph 5 of Performance Standards 3 (PS3), and, only with respect to the foregoing paragraphs ofthe Overview of the PS and PS3, paragraph 22 ofIFC’s Sustainability Policy, all with respect to non-compliance with Kazakh national standards for residential noise (IFC/R2020-0272, dated December 23, 2020) and adopted Resolution No. IFC2021-0001 .
