The Executive Directors discussed the President’s Memorandum and Recommendation (IDA/R2021-0290, dated November 1, 2021) and approved the IDA financing envelope of US$570.0 million equivalent for the West Africa Food System Resilience Program using Multiphase Programmatic Approach (MPA) consisting of two phases: Phase 1: credits to Burkina Faso of EUR 38.9 million (US$45 million equivalent), Mali of EUR 26 million (US$30 million equivalent), Niger of EUR 26.0 million (US$30 million equivalent), Togo of EUR 38.9 million (US$45 million equivalent); and grants to Burkina Faso of SDR 32 million (US$45 million equivalent), Mali of SDR 21.3 million (US$30 million equivalent), Niger of SDR 21.3 million (US$30 million equivalent), Togo of SDR 32 million (US$45 million equivalent) , the Permanent Interstate Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel of SDR 7.1 million (US$10 million equivalent), the West and Central Africa Council for Agriculture Research and Development of SDR 7.1 million (US$10 million equivalent), the Economic Community of West African States of SDR 7.1 million (US$10 million equivalent); and Phase 2: IDA financing of US$240.0 million equivalent to Chad, Ghana and Sierra Leone, on the terms and conditions set out in the President’s Memorandum.  \nAdjournment  \n3.
