The Board of Directors ofIFC discussed the President’s Memorandum and a Report and approved an investment to create the Africa and Middle East, Central Asia, and Pakistan Venture Capital Platform in the amount of up to US$225 million for IFC’s own account to be deployed over 3 years, with up to US$150 million targeted for Africa, and US$75 million targeted for Middle East, Central Asia, and Pakistan (IFC/R2022-0310, dated October 24, 2022) .
