The Executive Directors discussed the President’s Memorandum and Recommendation (R2025-0010[IDA/R2025-0011]; /2, dated January 17, 2025 and February 5, 2025, respectively) and approved the financing envelope in the amount of US$1.54 billion equivalent for the Advancing Innovative Methods to Promote Learning in Eastern and Southern Africa Program, using the Multiphase Programmatic Approach (MPA), including the first phase of the MPA in the amount of SDR49.3 million (US$64.62 million equivalent) consisting of (i) a grant in the amount of SDR 11.2 million (US$14.62 million equivalent) to Comoros, and (ii) a credit in the amount of SDR 38.1 million (US$50 million equivalent) to Ethiopia on the terms and conditions set out in the President’s Memorandum.  \nAdjournment  \n3.
