The Board of Directors considered the Report from the President on the new coverage of NonHonoring of Financial Obligations by a Regional Development Bank under Article 11(b) of the Convention and the guarantee for this coverage to Standard Chartered Bank and other financial institutions yet to be identified for their investments in Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank in twenty-two countries in Africa (MIGA/R2020-0036, dated June 4, 2020) .  \nThe Board of Directors approved by special majority the new MIGA coverage “Non-Honoring of Financial Obligations by a Regional Development Bank (NHFO-RDB)” and the amendments to MIGA’s Operational Policies in Part One Section I of the report. Ms. Nordquist wished to be recorded as abstaining on the new product.  \nThe Board of Directors also approved by special majority the issuance of the Guarantee to Standard Chartered Bank and Other Financial Institutions Yet to be Identified for their Investments in Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank as set out in the President’s Memorandum.  \nAdjournment  \n3.
