I want to focus on the audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2022, as a final version of the budget for 2023 will be available after the 2023 IBD meeting in Dallas.  \nMoreover, I would like you to come to Australia in October 2024 for two amazing events – details atthe end of my column.  \n2022 Financial statements  \nIndependent auditors issued their opinion that they are satisfied that our financial statements were prepared in accordance with required standards and legal requirements, and that they represent a true and fair view of the state of Mensa International Limited’s fiscal affairs as at 31 December 2022, and ofits profit for the year then ended.  \nThat essentially means that someone independent, who is suitably qualified and experienced, audited our financial statements and they did not identify anything concerning.
