One letter of reference or recommendation from a teacher, coach, or other adult who is not an immediate relative.  \nSelection Process  \nRecipients will be selected by the National Committee of Mensa New Zealand based on application materials provided.  \nThe winners will be announced at their school’s Prize Giving, if still at High School.  \nThe winners will receive a certificate and, if not already a member, an offer for a free Mensa Entry test.  \nAll scholarship applicants will be notified of the Committee’s decision by 1 December 2020.  \nPayment will be made to the recipient upon notification and in accordance with the tertiary education institution’s scholarship guidelines, and when the National Committee of Mensa New Zealand has been furnished a letter of Acceptance or confirmation of study at an approved tertiary education institution.  \nMembership of Mensa New Zealand  \nNew members of Mensa New Zealand are always welcome.
