The text is structured into two volumes with extensive prefaces, translator’s framing, and an “excerpts” section, followed by chapters tracing formative years in Germany and Vienna and moving through accounts of political developments. It includes sections on political strategy, the German National Socialist movement, state theory, organization, propaganda, war and revolution, and culminates with an epilogue and footnotes providing historical references.","MEIN KAMPF \nHURST AND BLACKETT LTD., Publishers since 1812 \nLONDON • NEW YORK • MELBOURNE \nThis translation of the unexpurgated edition of \"Mein Kampf\"was first published on March 21st, 1939 \nFOOT NOTES....................................................................................................... 3 \nVOLUME I: A RETROSPECT ............................................................................ 7 \nINTRODUCTION-AUTHOR’S PREFACE .................................................. 7 \nTRANSLATOR’S INTRODUCTION.............................................................. 9 \nEXCERPTS ..................................................................................................... 14 \nCHAPTER I: IN THE HOME OF MY PARENTS........................................ 17 \nCHAPTER II: YEARS OF STUDY AND SUFFERING IN VIENNA .........28 \nCHAPTER III: POLITICAL REFLECTIONS ARISING OUT OF MY SOJOURN IN VIENNA ................................................................................. 62 \nCHAPTER IV: MUNICH ............................................................................. 109 \nCHAPTER V: THE WORLD WAR............................................................. 132 \nCHAPTER VI: WAR PROPAGANDA........................................................ 145 \nCHAPTER VII: THE REVOLUTION ......................................................... 153 \nCHAPTER VIII: THE BEGINNING OF MY POLITICAL ACTIVITIES . 167 \nCHAPTER IX: THE GERMAN LABOUR PARTY ................................... 174 \nCHAPTER X: WHY THE SECOND REICH COLLAPSED...................... 180 \nCHAPTER XI: RACE AND PEOPLE ......................................................... 222 \nCHAPTER XII: THE FIRST STAGE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE GERMAN NATIONAL SOCIALIST LABOUR PARTY...........................259 \nVOLUME II: THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST MOVEMENT.........................290 \nCHAPTER I: WELTANSCHAUUNG AND PARTY .................................290 \nCHAPTER II: THE STATE.......................................................................... 301 \nCHAPTER III: CITIZENS AND SUBJECTS OF THE STATE ................. 340 \nCHAPTER IV: PERSONALITY AND THE IDEAL OF THE PEOPLE’S STATE........................................................................................................... 343 \nCHAPTER V: WELTANSCHHAUUNG AND ORGANIZATION ...........351 \nCHAPTER VI: THE FIRST PERIOD OF OUR STRUGGLE .................... 360 \nCHAPTER VII: THE CONFLICT WITH THE RED FORCES ..................373 \nCHAPTER VIII: THE STRONG IS STRONGEST WHEN ALONE ......... 391 \nCHAPTER IX: FUNDAMENTAL IDEAS REGARDING THE NATURE AND ORGANIZATION OF THE STORM TROOPS.................................398 \nCHAPTER X: THE MASK OF FEDERALISM..........................................424 \nCHAPTER XI: PROPAGANDA AND ORGANIZATION.........................442 \nCHAPTER XII: THE PROBLEM OF THE TRADE UNIONS...................455 \nCHAPTER XIII: THE GERMAN POST-WAR POLICY OF ALLIANCES....................................................................................................................... 464 \nCHAPTER XIV: GERMANY’S POLICY IN EASTERN EUROPE ..........490 \nCHAPTER XV: THE RIGHT TO SELF-DEFENCE................................... 510 \nEPILOGUE ................................................................................................... 525 \nFOOT NOTES \n1) In order to understand the reference here, and similar references in later portions of Mein Kampf, the following must be borne in mind: \nFrom 1792 to 1814 the French Revolutionary Armies overran Germany. In 1800 Bavaria shared in the Austrian defeat at Hohenlinden and the French occupied Munich. In 1805 the Bavarian Elector was made King of Bavaria by Napoleon and stipulated to back up Napoleon in all his wars with a force of 30,000 men. Thus Bavaria became the absolute vassal of the French. This was ‘The Time of Germany’s Deepest Humiliation’, Which is referred to again and again by Hitler. \nIn 1806 a pamph","cbCailHU9vZScYEJ","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCailHU9vZScYEJ","pdf",1849372,3,1,525,"English","en",105,"# Foot Notes\n# Volume I: A Retrospect\n## Introduction—Author’s Preface\n## Translator’s Introduction\n## Chapter I: In the Home of My Parents\n## Chapter II: Years of Study and Suffering in Vienna\n## Chapter III: Political Reflections Arising out of My Sojourn in Vienna\n## Chapter IV: Munich\n## Chapter V: The World War\n## Chapter VI: War Propaganda\n## Chapter VII: The Revolution\n## Chapter VIII: The Beginning of My Political Activities\n## Chapter IX: The German Labour Party\n## Chapter X: Why the Second Reich Collapsed\n## Chapter XI: Race and People\n## Chapter XII: The First Stage in the Development of the German National Socialist Labour Party\n# Volume II: The National Socialist Movement\n## Chapter I: Weltanschauung and Party\n## Chapter II: The State\n## Chapter III: Citizens and Subjects of the State\n## Chapter IV: Personality and the Ideal of the People’s State\n## Chapter V: Weltanschauung and Organization\n## Chapter VI: The First Period of Our Struggle\n## Chapter VII: The Conflict with the Red Forces\n## Chapter VIII: The Strong Is Strongest When Alone\n## Chapter IX: Fundamental Ideas Regarding the Nature and Organization of the Storm Troops\n## Chapter X: The Mask of Federalism\n## Chapter XI: Propaganda and Organization\n## Chapter XII: The Problem of the Trade Unions\n## Chapter XIII: The German Post-War Policy of Alliances\n## Chapter XIV: Germany’s Policy in Eastern Europe\n## Chapter XV: The Right to Self-Defence\n# Epilogue","[{\"question\":\"What editions and publication details are associated with this translation of Mein Kampf?\",\"answer\":\"The translation is described as of the unexpurgated edition and notes a first publication date of March 21st, 1939, by Hurst and Blackett Ltd. as publishers.\"},{\"question\":\"How is Mein Kampf organized across the two volumes?\",\"answer\":\"Volume I is presented as “A Retrospect” with an introduction, translator’s introduction, and chapters covering formative experiences and early political reflections.
