STATEMENT  \nDate: 14 June 2023  \nANOTHER BOGUS “APPLICANT” ARRESTED AT SACE HEADQUARTERS  \nhe South African Council for Educators (SACE) wishes to alert the public that another bogus “applicant” was arrested at the SACE Head Office, Centurion, this time for presenting a fake work permit.  \nA foreign applicant, who is a Lesotho national was arrested by the Lyttleton police officers after attempting to apply for a Professional Registration Certificate using a fake work permit.  \nThe applicant was taken by the police for further questioning and possible detention. This fraud incident happens barely two days after two applicants were arrested on separate incidents for attempting to acquire a Professional Registration Certificate using fake transcripts and qualifications.  \nSACE continue to warn all applicants to refrain from using fake documents when applying.
