CAD software is used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communication through documentation, and create a database for manufacturing. CAD output is often in the form of electronic files for print, manufacturing documentation, or other manufacturing processes. \nThe technical and engineering drawings and images must convey information such as materials, processes, dimensions and tolerances according to application-specific conventions. CAD may be used to design curves and figures in two-dimensional (2D) space or curves, surfaces and solids in three-dimensional (3D) space. CAD is also used to produce computer animation for the special effects used in, for example, advertising and technical manuals. \nCAD is an important industrial art and is the way projects come true. It is extensively used in many applications, including automotive, ship building and aerospace industries, and in industrial design. The CAD process and outputs are essential to successful solutions for engineering and \nmanufacturing problems. \nCAD software helps us explore ideas, visualize concepts throug","cbCaiqi7M2xWd6gW","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiqi7M2xWd6gW","pdf",869836,36,"English","# 1 Introduction\n## 1.1 Name and description of the skill competition\n## 1.2 The relevance and significance of this document\n## 1.3 Associated documents\n# 2 The WorldSkills Occupational Standards (WSOS)\n## 2.1 General notes on the WSOS\n# 3 The Assessment Strategy and Specification\n# 4 Assessment Design and Practice\n# 5 The Test Project\n# 6 Skill management and communication\n# 7 Skill-specific safety requirements\n# 8 Materials and equipment\n# 9 Skill-specific rules\n# 10 Expert knowledge and experience\n# 11 Visitor and media engagement\n# 12 Sustainability\n# 13 References for industry consultation\n# 14 Appendix","[{\"question\":\"What does Mechanical engineering CAD mean in the competition context?\",\"answer\":\"It refers to using computer systems to assist in creating, modifying, analysing, or optimising engineering designs.
