Before joining AQA in 2001, he taught mathematics for 17 years and was Head of Faculty in large comprehensive schools in Cambridgeshire and Manchester.  \nAndrew has been closely involved in the development and delivery of all our mathematics qualifications from Entry level through to Further Mathematics A-level.  \nIn his current role, Andrew’s responsible for ensuring teachers of all AQA maths qualifications are fully informed and supported. He’s also responsible for making sure that our qualifications and support meet the needs of teachers, reflecting best practice and the latest developments in teaching, learning and assessment.  \nAndrew will be presenting a workshop and will be at our stand ready to answer your questions.  \n8  \n\\#MATHSCONF29 AQA EVENT GUIDE  \nIan  \nIan Andrews is our Chair of Examiners for GCSE Maths, GCSE Statistics and Level 2 Further Maths. As well as leading our expert panel, he’s also a head of department in a secondary school in England.  \nIan has always loved maths and after completing his Maths with Statistics degree in 2000, he worked in the industry for several years in data analysis.
