An early bedtime with no electronics is the best bet. \n● Keep meals nutritions. Studies show that students do their best thinking when well nourished. \n● Attendance is very important during this time. S who are absent or late will need to do a“make-up” test in an alternative setting. ƅis can be stressful for the student and they may miss other “fun” activities. Ofcourse, if your child is ill, staying home is appropriate. \n● Tell your child they should do their best but strive to not “stress them out.” We have already shared with students that the results of these tests are important and that doing their best is all we ask. \nFor parents to know: \n● ƅese tests help us to determine who requires an extra challenge and who needs extra help. \n● For 8th graders, the results will be considered when determining which classes the student should take in high school. \nƅis week’s schedule: \nTuesday, May 16-Wednesday, May 17-ƅursday, May 18-Friday, May 19- \nNext week’s schedule: \nMonday, May 22-Tuesday, May 23-Wednesday, May 24-ƅursday, May 25-Friday, May 26 \nELA Performance Task Part 1 (lesson in class) ELA Performance Task Part 2 (computer test) ELA Computer Adaptive Test (computer test) Finish up ELA tests \nCAST Science test (computer test, 8th grade only) Math Performance Task Part 1 (lesson in class) Math Performance Task Part 2 (computer test) Math Computer Adaptive Test (computer test) Finish up Math tests \nƅey’ve got this!
