While acknowledging the positive economic outlook, Directors noted that the Maldives remain at high risk to exogenous shocks and urged the WBG to deepen the dialogue with the Government of Maldives to reduce fiscal and debt vulnerability and enhance Domestic Resource Mobilization, to meet development objectives, sustain growth, maintain quality social services, and attract private and foreign investment.  \nDirectors appreciated the focus on improving human capital and economic and climate resilience by leveraging digital technologies, supporting governance, and strengthening institutional capacity building and skills development. Directors stressed the importance of using the convening power and full range of financial instruments of the WBG to support the government’s reform efforts. They asked for greater selectivity and prioritization in the design of operations to achieve welldefined and measurable results.  \nDirectors acknowledged the crucial role of the private sector and appreciated that IFC is playing amore active role to help in catalyzing Private Capital Mobilization.
