This work explores Machine Learning and IoT as enabling technologies for intelligent recognition in a piece classification scenario. Una possible manera de fer una màquina més intel·ligent és la inclusió de noves eines com són el Machine Learning i el IoT. Utilitzant com exemple un problema de classificació de peces, en aquest treball de final de màster s’han dissenyat sistemes de xarxes neuronals convolucionades (CNN) per la identificació més classificació d’imatges i la transmissió del resultat a una màquina industrial.S’han previst i creat diferents models d’enviament dedades a una màquina industrial mitjançant l’ús de protocols de comunicació com Modbus TCP, OPC UA o MQTT. S’ha utilitzat el llenguatge de programació Python amb eines com llibraries de comunicació pels protocols esmenats i el framework de desenvolupament de Machine Learning Tensorflow. Al final d’aquest treball s’ha aconseguit crear un model dexarxa neuronal convolucional que ha identificat i classificat peces i aquesta informació es podria enviar a una màquina industrial que tinguès un protocol de comunicació delsnombrats anteriorment.  \nAbstract  \nIn the world of industry, there is an increasing demand for machines, maybe not more sophisticated but more intelligent, capable of automating as many functions as possible, because the more tasks a machine can do, the more time for other things a human has. One possibility of increasing a machine’s intelligence is the addition of new technologies like Machine Learning and IoT. Using as an example a piece classification problem, in this master's thesis, convolutional neural networks (CNN) models have been designed for the identification and classification of images and the transmission of its result to an industrial machine. Different systems for sending data to an industrial machine have been planned and created through the use of communication protocols such as Modbus TCP, OPC UA or MQTT. The Python programming language has been used with tools such as communication libraries for the aforementioned protocols and the Machine Learning development framework Tensorflow.
