If you do not have Photo Stacking Blocks, you can adapt this activity without them or make your own stacking blocks out of Priority Mail boxes.  \nTo Play:  \n• Insert 6 beginning sounds cards (pp. 2-12 of this download) into one photo stacking block.  \n• Insert 6 long vowel word endings (pp. 13-27) into the other photo stacking block.  \n• Roll the stacking blocks, reading each word you make. Tell whether it is a real or nonsense word.  \nTo extend the activity:  \n• Insert different beginning sound cards or long vowel word endings to create more words together.  \n• Print off the recording sheet (p. 29/30) and write the words you make.
