CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0.  \nLittle Red  \nHen  \nOnce upon a time a cat and a dog and a mouse and a little red hen all lived together in a compound.  \nThe cat liked to sleep all day on the compound wall.  \nThe dog liked to sleep all day under the tree .  \nThe mouse liked to sleep all day in the shade of the house .  \nSo the little red hen had to do all the work.  \nThe little red hen collected the water, she swept the compound,  \nshe washed the clothes, she worked in the fields and she cooked the meals .  \nOne day the little red hen found some grains of millet.  \n“Who will plant this millet?” asked the little red hen .  \n“Not me,” said the cat.  \n“Not me,” said the dog.  \n“Not me,” said the mouse .  \n“Then I will,” said the little red hen . And she did. She spent all day in the field planting.  \n“Who will hoe the millet?” asked the little red hen .  \n“Not me,” said the cat.  \n“Not me,” said the dog.  \n“Not me,” said the mouse .  \n“Then I will,” said the little red hen . And she did.
