Players build numerator and denominator pairs, place six fractions onto their boards only when the size order is correct, and may place equal-value fractions beside each other. Play continues until one player records all fractions from smallest to biggest, using the provided fraction table or a calculator to verify comparisons.",{"@graph":14,"@context":72},[15,34,55],{"@type":16,"itemListElement":17},"BreadcrumbList",[18,23,27,31],{"item":19,"name":20,"@type":21,"position":22},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",1,{"item":24,"name":25,"@type":21,"position":26},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/","Document",2,{"item":28,"name":29,"@type":21,"position":30},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/exam/","Exam",3,{"item":32,"name":10,"@type":21,"position":33},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/little-big-fractions-read-online-free/635991/",4,{"url":32,"name":10,"@type":35,"image":36,"author":41,"headline":10,"publisher":44,"fileFormat":47,"inLanguage":8,"description":12,"dateModified":48,"datePublished":49,"encodingFormat":47,"isAccessibleForFree":50,"interactionStatistic":51},"DigitalDocument",{"url":37,"@type":38,"width":39,"height":40},"https://docshare.wps.com/thumbnails/little-big-fractions-read-online-free/635991.png","ImageObject",300,407,{"name":42,"@type":43},"Dipper","Person",{"url":19,"name":45,"@type":46},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-10-30","2026-10-22",true,{"@type":52,"interactionType":53,"userInteractionCount":33},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":54},"ViewAction",{"@type":56,"mainEntity":57},"FAQPage",[58,64,68],{"name":59,"@type":60,"acceptedAnswer":61},"What is the goal of Little Big Fractions?","Question",{"text":62,"@type":63},"The goal is to complete a set of fractions in size order from smallest to biggest on your board.","Answer",{"name":65,"@type":60,"acceptedAnswer":66},"How does a turn work in the game?",{"text":67,"@type":63},"Player 1 creates a fraction using numerator and denominator counters and records it on their board. They can choose which numbers to start with. \n• Player 1 then decides where to record the fraction they have made. They can choose any of the 6 spaces on their Little Big Fraction Board. \n• Player 2 then moves the numerator and denominator counters one space each along the line to make a new fraction. Player 2 then records the fraction anywhere on their board. \n• This process is repeated for each player and then goes back to player 1 again. \n• A fraction can only be recorded if it is in the correct size order, e.g. 3 cannot be placed above 2, and 5 cannot be placed below 4. \n• Fractions which have the same value, e.g. 2 and 4 can be placed next to each other on the boards. \n• If a player cannot place a fraction (either because it is too big or too small to go into a free space) then play passes to the next player. \n• The first player to finish placing all 6 fractions correctly in size order is the winner. \n• Either the Little Big Fractions Table or a calculator can be used to check whether or not a fraction is bigger or smaller than another fraction. \nVariations \n• Each player is only allowed to move either the numerator or the denominator, but not both counters. \nLITTLE BIG FRACTIONS \n| Numerator Denominator | | |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| 3 3 2 | 4 2 10 | |\n| 1 1 2\u003Cbr>\u003Cbr>8 5 3 | | |\n| | | |\n| | | |\n\n\n| LITTLE BIG FRACTIONS BOARD | | | |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| 1) | | | \u003Cbr>\u003Cbr>SMALLEST |\n| 2) | | | |\n| 3) | | | |\n| 4) | | | |\n| 5) | | | |\n| 6) | | | \u003Cbr>BIGGEST |\n\n\n| LITTLE BIG FRACTIONS BOARD | | |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| 1) | | \u003Cbr>SMALLEST |\n| 2) | | |\n| 3) | | |\n| 4) | | |\n| 5) | | |\n| 6) | | \u003Cbr>BIGGEST |\n\nLITTLE BIG FRACTIONS Table \n• The table below shows the possible values of all the fractions in the game from smallest to largest (and equivalent decimal values) . \n• The highlighted fractions are equivalent and have the same value as eachother. \n\n| FRACTIONS\u003Cbr>IN INCREASING ORDER | SIMPLEST FORM | DECIMAL (TO 3DP) |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| 10 SMALLEST | 10 | 0.1 |\n| 8 | 8 | 0.125 |\n| 5 | 5 | 0.2 |\n| 10 | 5 | 0.2 |\n| 4 | 4 | 0.25 |\n| 8 | 4 | 0.25 |\n| 10 | 10 | 0.3 |\n| 3 | 3 | 0.333 |\n| 8 | 8 | 0.375 |\n| 5 | 5 | 0.4 |\n| 2 | 2 | 0.5 |\n| 4 | 2 | 0.5 |\n| 5 | 5 | 0.6 |\n| 3 | 3 | 0.667 |\n| 4 | 4 | 0.75 |\n| | 1 | 1 |\n| | 1 | 1 |\n| 2 BIGGEST | 2 | 1.5 |","cbCaipgtbT5covAj","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaipgtbT5covAj","pdf",201322,"English","# Game Overview\n## What You Need\n## Instructions\n## Variations\n## Little Big Fractions Table","[{\"question\":\"What is the goal of Little Big Fractions?\",\"answer\":\"The goal is to complete a set of fractions in size order from smallest to biggest on your board.\"},{\"question\":\"How does a turn work in the game?\",\"answer\":\"Player 1 creates a fraction using numerator and denominator counters and records it on their board.
