You must keep the copyright and credits for authors, illustrators, etc.  \nThe first part of the word “trinity” is “tri” which means three.“Trinity” means three parts that makeup one thing, or three forms of the same thing, or something that we experience in three different ways.  \nA family is a trinity. It is made up of a father, a mother and children.  \nWhen water freezes, it becomes ice. If the ice melts, it becomes a liquid; that is what we call “water.” When it gets very hot it turns to steam. But ice, water and steam are really all the same thing. They are one thing in three different forms. They are a trinity.  \nThe American government is a trinity. The“legislative” part of the government makes laws. The executive part, which is the President, carries out the laws. The President also orders new actions that follow laws. The “judicial” part has courts and judges. It decides whether people are following the laws.  \nOur God is a Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  \nGod the Father is the One who planned to give us life. Together with Son and the Holy Spirit, He created us. He created the world and the whole universe.  \nGod the Father wants us to live close to Him. If we turn away from God we can ask Him to forgive us. He will forgive us. He loves us. He provides for us and protects us.  \nThe Father is holy. He is beautiful. He has great power, more power than we can think about. He had no beginning and He will have no end. He has always been and He will always be.  \nGod the Son is Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God but He is God. He also had no beginning and He will have no end.  \nJesus was in heaven with the Father. He had glory. Angels worshipped Him. But He left heaven to come to earth. He did this to show us more about what the Father is like. He did it to save us from our sins.  \nJesus was born on earth as a human baby. He grew into a boy and then into a man. He suffered and died. We turned against God and we should have been punished. Jesus took our punishment for us. He died in our place.  \nAfter Jesus died He came to life again. He went back to heaven and He is there with the Father now. If we believe in Him, we are forgiven and we will live forever.  \nBefore He went back to heaven Jesus told His followers,“I will ask the Father and He will give you another Helper who will stay with you forever. He is the Spirit. (John 14:16-17.) Jesus said,“The Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything.”(John 14:26.)  \nIf we believe in Jesus, the Spirit lives inside of us. He helps us to understand more about God the Father. He  \nhelps us to understand more about Jesus. He helps us to know what God wants us to do.  \nThe Holy Spirit gives us power. When we are afraid He gives us courage. When we don't know what to say He tells us the words to say. He gives us wisdom.  \nGod the Father was there at Creation. Genesis Chapter 1 tells the story of Creation. See how many times we read the name of God in that chapter.  \nGod the Son was also at Creation. John 1:1-4 says that God made all things through the Word. That Word was Jesus, the One who became a human being and lives among us (John 1:14) .  \nColossians 1:16 tells us that “through Christ God created everything in heaven and on earth.”  \nWe know that
