We can see fruit, and it looks good to eat.  \nHow did the fruit get there? The fruit came from the branches. The branches came out from the vine. Do you see the strong vine in the center of the picture? The vine feeds the branches so that the branches can feed the fruit. Good! But there is one branch with no fruit. Can you find it? Why does it have no fruit?  \nIt has no fruit because it is broken. It gets no food, soit has no life. Now look at the two  \nmen. What are they doing? They are picking up dead branches and using them for firewood. Dead branches cannot bear fruit.  \nJesus, God’s Son, says He is like a vine. He says,“I am the Vine. You are the branches. He who is connected to me and I to him will bear much fruit. But if you are separated from me, you can do nothing.”  \nGod sent Jesus to the world in order to help us have life. Jesus died to take the penalty for our sins and then had the power to come alive again. Now He lives forever. He says to us,“Come to me!” If we come and live with Him, He gives us a new life, and we are able to do new and beautiful things.  \nJesus is like a vine. We are like His branches. And He makes it possible for us to live a beautiful life, obeying God and being of help to others. That is the fruit which appears when we come to Jesus.
