The tabernacle was made so that it could be moved whenever the people of Israel traveled from place to place through the desert.  \nGod said to Moses,“Appoint the Levites over the tabernacle, to set it up and take it down; to carry it and all its furnishings; and to camp around it and keep guard over it.”  \nGod also told Moses,“Bring near to you Aaron your brother, and his sons to serve me as priests in the tabernacle.”  \nGod commanded Moses saying,“You shall make holy garments for Aaron and his sons, for glory and for beauty, and to consecrate them for my priesthood.”  \nGod commanded that skilled craftsmen and tailors make the priestly clothes for Aaron and his sons. They made linen undergarments for Aaron and his sons, to cover their naked flesh.  \nThey made holy garments for Aaron and his sons-coats, sashes and caps of fine linen for glory and beauty. They made a blue robe for Aaron.
