The program includes guided camp tours, exhibits and presentations at the CCC Built Octagon Shelter, a commemorative flag-raising, a remembrance ceremony honoring CCC veterans and descendants, mini talks and tours, and the dedication and tour of the restored Big Bend Camp chimney. Family-friendly activities, CCC artifacts, and Lincoln Logs building prompts culminate with awards for participants completing all activities.","Letchworth State Park’s CCC Legacy Day  \nSaturday August 3, 2019  \n10:00 AM-11:00 AM- Gibsonville Camp Tour-Walk the grounds of Camp 40 with Ken Wallace and hear stories from the days of the Civilian Conservation Corps.  \n10:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Exhibits, Presentations, and Family Activities at CCC Built Octagon Shelter near the Nature Shop by Cabin Area B. (See details below) .  \n11:30 AM – Raising of the Letchworth Commemorative CCC Flag at Memorial Flag Pole near the Lower Falls Restaurant.  \n11:45 AM-12:00 PM – Remembrance Ceremony at CCC Working Man Statue Lower Falls including recognition of CCC Veterans and descendants of enrollees followed by short walking tour of Lower Falls Camp with Tom Cook  \n12:00 PM-12:30 PM – Lunch on your own.  \n12:45 PM – Cake will be served to CCC Veterans and descendants of CCC members at the Octagon Shelter.  \n1:00 PM-2:00 PM – CCC Mini Talks & Tours at the Octagon Shelter.
