It is designed for hobbyists who wish to continue using classic models that are no longer featured in current codex publications. The content includes specific wargear options for Termagants, introducing the use of spike rifles and stranglewebs, alongside detailed weapon profiles and points values. These rules are suitable for open, narrative, and matched play to ensure classic collections remain playable on the tabletop.","® \nTYRANIDS \nWARHAMMER LEGENDS \nOver the years, many Warhammer 40,000 fans have amassed huge collections of Citadel miniatures for use in games of Warhammer 40,000. Today, some of those classic models are no longer available, and their rules no longer feature in current publications. So, to enable you to unleash your models on the tabletop, forever, their rules are provided here as Warhammer Legends. \nOn the following page you will additional wargear options. Used alongside those found in Codex: Tyranids, these allow you to field certain legendary models in your games. \nThe rules here can be used in any type of play – open, narrative or matched, and full points are provided to help you balance your forces. \nWarhammer Legends will not form part ofour ongoing balance review for the wider Warhammer 40,000 game – and we don’t recommend Legends units for competitive tournaments. This means that event organisers and attendees alike can guarantee that everything they’re gaming with is easily available to everyone and has been subject to the same rigorous balance and playtesting process. \nOf course, organisers are also free to specify that they will be including Legends rules if they like, allowing the use of the full classic range at their event. \nWARGEAR OPTIONS \nThe datasheets from Codex: Tyranids that are listed below are updated as follows: \nTERMAGANTS \nThis datasheet gains the following wargear options: \n• Any model can be equipped with 1 spike rifle instead of 1 fleshborer. \n• For every ten models, one model can be equipped with 1 strangleweb instead of 1 fleshborer. \nWEAPONS OF THE HIVE FLEETS \n\n| RANGED WEAPONS\u003Cbr>WEAPON | RANGE | TYPE | S | AP | D | ABILITIES |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| Spike rifle | 18\" | Assault 1 | 3 | 0 | 1 | - |\n| Strangleweb | 8\" | Assault D3 | 2 | 0 | 1 | - |\n\nPOINTS VALUES","cbCaiqxrWHXznyUK","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiqxrWHXznyUK","pdf",3817919,15,3,"English","en",105,"# Warhammer Legends - Tyranids\n## Wargear Options\n## Weapons of the Hive Fleets\n## Points Values","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of the Warhammer Legends document for Tyranids?\",\"answer\":\"It provides rules for classic Tyranid models that are no longer available in current Codex publications, allowing players to continue using them in tabletop games.\"},{\"question\":\"Are these rules recommended for competitive tournaments?\",\"answer\":\"No, the document explicitly states that Legends units are not recommended for competitive tournaments, as they are not part of the standard balance review process.\"},{\"question\":\"What are the new wargear options for Termagants?\",\"answer\":\"Termagants can now be equipped with spike rifles in place of fleshborers, and one model in every ten can be equipped with a strangleweb.\"}]","Legends - Tyranids - Warhammer 40,000 Wargear Rules | PDF",1791331564,{"code":4,"msg":82,"data":83},"ok",{"site_id":76,"language":75,"slug":84,"title":65,"keywords":85,"description":66,"schema_data":86,"social_meta":139,"head_meta":141,"extra_data":143,"updated_unix":144},"legends-tyranids-warhammer-40000-wargear-rules","",{"@graph":87,"@context":138},[88,101,121],{"@type":89,"itemListElement":90},"BreadcrumbList",[91,95,97,99],{"item":92,"name":93,"@type":94,"position":8},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",{"item":96,"name":9,"@type":94,"position":14},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/",{"item":98,"name":57,"@type":94,"position":73},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/general/",{"item":100,"name":65,"@type":94,"position":19},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/legends-tyranids-warhammer-40000-wargear-rules/516541/",{"url":100,"name":65,"@type":102,"image":103,"author":108,"headline":65,"publisher":110,"fileFormat":113,"inLanguage":75,"description":66,"dateModified":114,"datePublished":115,"encodingFormat":113,"isAccessibleForFree":116,"interactionStatistic":117},"DigitalDocument",{"url":104,"@type":105,"width":106,"height":107},"https://docshare.wps.com/thumbnails/legends-tyranids-warhammer-40000-wargear-rules/516541.png","ImageObject",300,407,{"name":63,"@type":109},"Person",{"url":92,"name":111,"@type":112},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-10-17","2026-10-07",true,{"@type":118,"interactionType":119,"userInteractionCount":72},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":120},"ViewAction",{"@type":122,"mainEntity":123},"FAQPage",[124,130,134],{"name":125,"@type":126,"acceptedAnswer":127},"What is the purpose of the Warhammer Legends document for Tyranids?","Question",{"text":128,"@type":129},"It provides rules for classic Tyranid models that are no longer available in current Codex publications, allowing players to continue using them in tabletop games.","Answer",{"name":131,"@type":126,"acceptedAnswer":132},"Are these rules recommended for competitive tournaments?",{"text":133,"@type":129},"No, the document explicitly states that Legends units are not recommended for competitive tournaments, as they are not part of the standard balance review process.",{"name":135,"@type":126,"acceptedAnswer":136},"What are the new wargear options for Termagants?",{"text":137,"@type":129},"Termagants can now be equipped with spike rifles in place of fleshborers, and one model in every ten can be equipped with a strangleweb.","https://schema.org",{"og:url":100,"og:type":140,"og:title":65,"og:site_name":111,"og:description":66},"article",{"robots":142,"canonical":100},"index,follow",{"doc_id":61,"site_id":76},1791736710]
