When we launched Leading Edge as an independent network in 2010 and produced the first edition of Leading Change, it was hard to know what the future held for Leading Edge. Since then, the network has gone from strength to strength and has continued to grow each year. This year, once again the network is bigger than ever before. Leading Edge is a truly school-led network, designed to support the work of high-performing schools. The programme is shaped by our steering group of headteachers, which meets every term. If you have any suggestions as to how we can make the network more useful to you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.  \nLast term we were at Twickenham Stadium for the Achievement Show, thankyou to the many Leading Edge schools who came and shared their practice. The Achievement Show will be back next year on Friday the 26th June at Twickenham, please put it in your diary.  \nThe Leading Edge leadership conference will be taking place on Friday the 19th September at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London. A place at this conference is part of your Leading Edge package, so do try to make sure that someone from your leadership team joins us for the day. He performs regularly in concert halls, festivals and jazz clubs and has made many acclaimed recordings. In 1998, he founded Music and Management to introduce business leaders to music as a powerful metaphor for discussing leadership, teamwork and innovation. During his seminars, he explores how great conductors build confidence and competence during rehearsal, as well as provide inspiration and reassurance during performance.
