Today, we have the Horse Training and Management  \nand Equine Business Management programs.  \nIn the Horse Training and Management program, students green  \nbreak three 2-year-old colts. As sophomores, these students work with a  \ngreen broke horse to further their training in areas such as reining, cow  \nhorse, roping and barrels. In the Equine Business Management program,  \nstudents prepare for jobs such as equine rehabilitation, nutrition, vet tech,  \nand lesson instructor. Students learn anatomy, nutrition, reproduction,  \nbusiness management and become trained to use our Vitafloor, Solarium  \nand Magnawave.  \nStudents from across the country come to Lamar, Colorado to  \nfurther their education and become gainfully employed in the horse  \nindustry after their internships.
