Panel Wants To Revamp CTTY Approach To Gang Prevention","","Law enforcement and local officials outline a consolidated anti-gang strategy proposed for Los Angeles, branded “L.A. Bridges,” aimed at nearly doubling funding for at-risk youth and focusing on middle school students most vulnerable to gang recruitment. A four-year pilot would establish homework centers, parent-youth bonding programs, and conflict-resolution teams across high-crime neighborhoods, with additional schools added if funding allows.
