toKingdoms &Warfare thatputs the book’s unit cards andlinks to maps in one place.Italso contains new material to \nsupplement what's already in Kingdoms &Warfare, including rules for building your own units, twentynew units ready for you to drop right into your nextwarfare battle, two versions of a blank party sheet(one is printer-friendly),and blank,printer-friendlyunit cards. \n## MAKING UNITS\n\nKingdoms Warfare doesn't have rules for creatingnew units, because each in the book is hand-tunedfor balance. The book expects GMs to start usingthe system with small battles, allowing the charac-ters to grow their domain's army organically, andby the time you have a few battles under your belt, you'll understand the system wellenough to makeyour own homebrew units and your results willbepretty close to what you'd get if there were an offi-cial version of that unit. \nBut the book lacks a decent selection of high-tierunits.This PDF aims to correct that oversight byproviding you with twenty new units of Tier IV andV.Additionally, this PDF provides guidelines forbuilding your own units. \n## MAKING A NEW UNIT\n\nHey everybody!Matt Colville here.I want to walkyou through making a new unit. \nThe easiest way to make a new unit and have areasonable expectation that the unit won't be overor underpowered,is to pick a unit that's about aspowerful as the unit you want to make then tweakthat unit to fit your expectations. \nLet's imagine we want to make a minotaur heavyinfantry unit! There is a minotaur infantry unit inthe special unit deck, but it's the generic minotaur unit \nwhich is not cool enough for our purposes, and wedon't have access to that deck right now anyway.Sowe're on our own.But not exactly! \nThe Warfare Ancestries table on page 6 containsa list of all the ancestries supported in Kingdoms GWarfare and what size units each ancestry can field.Minotaur units are size 6 and have the Charge andReckless traits. \n## CHOOSEA TIER \n\nNow we have to pick another unit that's about astough and has the same feel we want for our mino-taur heavy infantry unit.Let's check out the tiersand see what makes sense. \nTier I units are basic units (such as light infantry, light cavalry)from common ancestries (such ashumans, elves, dwarves). Our squad of heavilyarmed and armored bull-folk are neither basicnor common,so Tier Iis out. \nTier IIis for uncommon ancestries that are a littlerarer than humans and elves and dwarves, suchas drow, owlbears,or trolls.Minotaurs fit in therewell! So this unit would be a Tier II unit except...Tier III units are where you start to get really rareancestries, ancestries that are much more pow-erful than normal ancestries,or more powerfulversions of units from lower tiers. \nThere are no hard and fast rules for this, butconsider this guideline. If a normal, vanilla unitfrom an ancestry would be Tier N,t","cbCain746GRo8pLB","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCain746GRo8pLB","pdf",25312065,32,"English","# Credits\n#
