Fresher is Better \nUsing fresh milk delivers the richest, frothiest foam possible. Opened milk will still froth, but may lose effectiveness over time as the fats inside break down. \nMilk Matters! Different types of milk produce different results. Depending on which milk you use, here’s what you can expect: \n• Fat-Free/Skim Milk: Easy to froth, it creates a light, airy foam . \n• 2% Milk: Easy to foam like skim milk, but with a creamier consistency. \n• Whole Milk: Higher fat content creates the richest-tasting foam . \n• Lactose-Free Milk: Less reliable, due to its different properties. \n• Dairy Alternatives: Results will vary depending on type; loses its bubbles quicker than dairy milk. \nNot All Brands Are the Same \nEven individual brands of milk can froth differently, so experiment with different brands to see what works best. \nBefore You Brew \nPlug & Place \nRemove packing tape from coffee maker. Plug into an outlet. \nPlace a large mug on the drip tray. \n Rinse & Fill \nRemove the water reservoir lid, then lift the reservoir straight up to remove it. If you have a Keurig® Water Filter (sold separately), install it now. Refer to your Water Filter Starter Kit for instructions. \nRinse reservoir with fresh water and fill to the MAX FILL line. \nReplace water reservoir, making sure the tank is seated properly in the base. Replace lid. \nNOTE: Do not use distilled water. \nClean the Frother \nRemove the lid and whisk from inside the frother. Wash the interior of the frother, lid, and whisk with warm, soapy water. Dry all parts thoroughly using a soft, nonabrasive cloth, then reassemble. \nNOTE: Frother is not dishwasher safe. Do not submerge frother in water. Only use nonabrasive cleaning materials to prevent damage to the inner surface of the frother. Dry interior offrother and base with a soft cloth after cleaning. \nLift & Lower \nLift and lower the handle. \nDo not insert a K-Cup® pod. \nThe coffee maker will power on automatically. \n5 Cleansing Brew \nThe cup sizes will blink. Press the \n8 oz button to start a cleansing brew. Pour the hot water into the sink. Do not remove the water reservoir or lift the handle once the brew button has been pressed until the brew has completed. \nThe one-time setup process is now complete, and you are ready to brew! \nMake Your First Latte \n1. Froth Milk \nRemove lid and add milk to the MAX line marked in the frother (for cappuccino, fill to MIN line) . Replace the lid and place the frother on the frother base. Press the power button on the frother. \nThe button will illuminate while heating – up to three minutes. Frothing is complete when the button flashes and then turns off. CAUTION: Frother is not microwave or dishwasher safe. \nNOTE: Do not under-or overfill frother. Do not operate before adding milk. \n2. Queue Your Brew \nWhile frothing, lift the handle of your coffee maker and place a K-Cup® podin the K-Cup® pod holder. Lower the handle completely to close the lid, then place a mug on the drip tray. The brew selections will blink. Press the SHOT* button. When frothing is completed, the shot will automatically brew next. NOTE: The coffee maker cannot brew coffee and froth milk at the same time. \nCAUTION: While brewing, there is extremely hot water in the K-Cup® pod holder. To avoid injury, do not lift the handle during the brew process. \nDo not remove the foil lid","cbCaik5fRcQfa7WT","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaik5fRcQfa7WT","pdf",2073923,"English","# Button Overview\n## Brew sizes and specialty buttons\n# How to Froth Like a Pro\n## Fresher is better\n## Milk matters and expected results\n## Not all brands are the same\n# Before You Brew\n## Plug & place; rinse and fill\n## Clean the frother\n## Lift and lower; cleansing brew\n# Make Your First Latte\n## Froth milk\n## Queue your brew\n## Create your latte\n# Why Queue Your Brew\n# Coffee Maker Features\n## Strong brew, back-to-back brewing, travel mug friendly\n## Maintenance alert and descaling guidance","[{\"question\":\"What do the SHOT, STRONG, and FROTH buttons do?\",\"answer\":\"The SHOT button brews a concentrated coffee shot for specialty beverages.
