They underscored the importance of continued progress on regional connectivity and energy transition and called for greater integration of gender considerations across CPF priorities.  \nAs Kazakhstan is an above-GDI country and in the context of the discussion on graduation, Directors requested more information on the graduation outlook of Kazakhstan and the Bank’s assessment of gaps for sustainable IBRD graduation. They emphasized the importance of using the CPF, including IBRD financing, toward strengthening institutions, improving the business environment and making selective transformational investments.
