The issue opens with paper airplanes turned into a global papercraft following, then shifts to maintenance and MRO efficiency, emerging private aviation models, and aircraft retrofit stories. Features explore AI’s growing role, aerial imaging for disaster response, pilot-CEO perspectives, and interior coatings for BizAv buyers. Photography coverage highlights pixel dragging and explores historical and prototype-driven aircraft evolution.","A V I A T I O N M A G A Z I N E \nJETSTREAMMAG.COM \nUnlock the World of Aviation \nCOMMERCIAL & ENTHUSIAST \nUAV & DEFENSE BUSINESS AVIATION \n6 Issues per Year \nFrom $16/yr \nJETSTREAMMAG.COM/SUBSCRIBE \nWelcome to the Jetstream. \nJust a year ago, we were putting together the rough drafts of Jetstream Magazine’s very first issue. Although the team was unsure where it would lead, we’re excited to share that, one year later, we’re still going stronger than ever. \nThis issue moves between scales – from small and meticulous to vast and systemic – which, honestly, is quite representative of how the aviation industry sits right now. \nWe open with craft in its most literal form: “paper airplanes,” but not the ones you may be used to seeing. From there, we widen out into the business side of the industry, featuring a discussion with the CEO of a major aircraft maintenance firm. We then examine the philosophies of emerging players, including Magnifica Air’s reimagining of private flying, Air Premia’s growth story, Air India’s retrofit program, and Silver Air’s approach to charter operations. \nWe then look into Nearmap and Flyte, who round out the operational side, showing how data and technology are quietly reshaping how the industry manages itself, which we further build on in our final feature on AI’s expanding role in aviation. \nOn the creative side, we’re excited to share a photographer feature about pixel dragging, a recently trending technique that adds an abstractive element to aviation photography – you may have noticed it in this magazine’s cover. \nWe’ve noticed an audience increasingly interested in aviation history, so going forward, we’reworking to build on that. For now, we feature a Travolta-directed film piece, a look back atthe De Havilland Comet, and a walk through the prototypes that defined the aircraft we fly onboard today. \nOf course, this magazine exists because of the readers who care enough about aviation to sit with both the technical and the beautiful.
