God made us all. He is the only true God. People are separated from God by their sin and evil ways, but God loves all people. Jesus came from God. He knows all about God (because He is God's Son. ) Jesus came to teach people how they can know God (again) . Listen and I will tell you what Jesus taught the people, then you can know the True and Living God too.  \n2  \nThe Two Houses  \nMa􀀃hew 7:24-27  \nJesus told a story about the two men. One man built his house on a rock. That is a strong founda􀀪on. When the storm came, that house did not fall down. The other man built his house on the sand. When the storm came that house was washed away. We should build our lives on a strong founda􀀪on too. The strong founda􀀪on for life is the teaching of Jesus. If we obey His teaching about God, we will be strong when the troubles of life come. Even Satan will not be able to destroy us.  \n3  \nA Light Should be Seen  \nMa􀀃hew 5:14-16  \nWhat do you do with a light in the dark? One man in this picture holds his light up high so that it gives light to everyone in the house. The other man is foolish. He is hiding his light under a basket. Jesus is the Light of the World. He shows us the way to God. When we obey His words, others can see God's Light in us. Jesus said, \"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father (God) in Heaven. \" We must not hide the Light of God but let others see and hear about Jesus. Then they can know the way to God also.  \n4  \nA Roman Beats a Jew  \nMa􀀃hew 5:38-42  \nLook! A Roman soldier is slapping a Jewish man. The soldier has taken the man's cloak as well. What should the man do?  \nJesus told the people, \"Do not take revenge on someone who wrongs you. If anyone strikes you on the right cheek, let him strike you on the le􀀴 cheek too. If anyone takes your shirt, let him have your coat also. \" We should not take revenge on those who have harmed us, for God has said, \"I will take revenge; I will pay back. \" God will punish all wrongdoers, either in this life, or a􀀴er death. But He tells us to repay evil by doing good (to our enemies) .  \n5  \nPraying to God  \nMa􀀃hew 6:5-15  \nIn this picture, two men are praying (speaking) to God. One man stands out in the street, repea􀀪ng long prayers. He wants men to see him and give him praise. God does not answer that kind of prayer. Jesus said, \"When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father (God) . Then your Father who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. \" God knows what we need. We do not have to tell Him many 􀀪mes. We should worship God in prayer, and pray for others too. We must seek His forgiveness (pardon) for the wrong things we have done, and ask Him to keep us from Satan and his evil  \nways.  \n6  \nEvil Men Sow Weeds  \nMa􀀃hew 13:24-30, 36-43  \nEvil men sowed weeds in a newly sown field. They were the enemies of the landowner. The landowner did not remove the  \nweeds so that he would not destroy the good plants as well. He waited un􀀪l the harvest 􀀪me. Then he separated out the good crops and burned up the weeds. Friends, Satan has sowed evil ones among God's people in this world. When the 􀀪me is right, Jesus will come again. He will separate the evil ones from those who obey God. Jesus will take His own to be with Him forever, but the evil ones will be thrown into the fire of Hell, with Satan.  \n7  \nJesus and the Children  \nMa􀀃hew 18:1-6, 19:13-15  \nOne day some people brought their children to Jesus. They wanted Jesus to touch the children and to pray to God for them.
