Jesus taught with authority, and the people were amazed at his teaching.  \nIn the synagogue was a man possessed by a demon. The man yelled loudly,“Go away! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth?”  \n“Did you come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God!”  \nJesus ordered the demon sternly,“Be quiet! Come out of him!”  \nThe demon shrieked and shook the man violently and threw him into a convulsion, while the people watched.  \nThen the demon came out of the man without injuring him.
