Jesus called out twelve men to be his disciples. He spent time with them to teach them and to equip them to do miracles in His name.  \nLarge crowds of people came to hear Jesus teach about God and to see him heal the sick.  \nOne day Jesus came to a large crowd that had gathered around some of his disciples, and teachers of the Law were arguing with them. The disciples had not been able to heal a boy with an evil spirit.  \nWhen the people saw Jesus, they were greatly surprised, and ran to him and greeted him.  \nMark 9:15  \nJesus asked his disciples,“What are you arguing with them about?”  \nMark 9:16  \nA man in the crowd answered,“Teacher, I brought my son to you, because he has an evil spirit in him and cannot talk.  \nMark 9:17  \nWhenever the spirit attacks him, it throws him to the ground, and he foams at the mouth, grits his teeth, and becomes stiff all over.
