Check out the precious new family members on page 8!  \n2  \nLetter from the Chair  \nDear Valued Faculty, Staff, Students, and Alumni of the Urology Department:  \nAs 2025 fades into memory , I 'm happy to say it was an excellent year for our department. We had two amazing additions to our faculty , three residents and two fellows joined our team , and we opened a new offsite clinic at Riverbend Drive with Urological Associates. Collectively , we attended conferences all over the world , gave dozens of talks , cared for tens of thousands of patients , and welcomed a lot of babies into our family (and more are on the way!)  \nWhile the year was characterized by change , UVA Urology continue to move forward in a positive direction. I appreciate the work that everyone puts into this  \nWith that said , cheers toa new year! I look forward to seeing the awesome things our  \ndepartment will  \naccomplish in 2026.  \nAs always , thank you everyone for everything you do. Save the Date for our Annual Vest Conference! This year , our Vest conference will take place on April 17th , and our guest speaker will be Dr. Karen Stern , an endourologist from Mayo Clinic , AZ. More details will be provided soon!  \n2 . Save the Date for the Faculty Retreat! Our annual faculty retreat will be on April 20th , location to be determined. As a reminder , all faculty are required to attend. APPs are welcome to attend , but it is not a requirement.  \n3 . Resident Match Day is Coming! On February 2nd , we will find out who our next residents will be. Stay tuned for the announcement in next month’s newsletter!  \n4 . Resident Appreciation Day-TBD!
