So, Jacob took his wives and children and all his livestock and began the journey to return to his home.  \nJacob was afraid Laban would try to stop them, so he did not tell Laban that they were leaving.  \nWhen Laban was three days journey away shearing his sheep,  \nJacob quickly packed up all of his possessionsand took them along with his two wives and their children.
