every week to make breakfast for our young people. I’d especially like to acknowledge Lee, Norm and Faye \nwho show up every week so that our young people have something to eat before classes begin. Throughout the term they have been assisted by Terri Hancock, Jan and John Webb, Liz Bates and Christine Romano. Today we had Senior Constable Goulding come in to help too. \nOh. My. Gosh! \nWhat a way to finish the term! Melissa Dehne and Belinda Gelletly, thankyou, thank you, thank you for coming to shave the lovely locks of our students. Blake and Seth, you were so brave to have your hair shaved for this very worthy cause. Makayla Heap and Tayla O’Connell, oh wow! Losing your beautiful long hair for this cause was simply amazing and I am blown away by your willingness to do this. Alfie Quinlan’s hair was plaited, cut and then shaved. Makayla, Tayla and Alfie’s long hair will be sent off to be made into wigs. Such an amazingly selfless act. It will make a positive impact to the life of someone fighting cancer. The Leukemia Foundation needs every dollar that can be raised to try and find a cure for this blood disease. You too can donate to this very worthy cause: [https://www.worldsgreatestshave.com/fundraisers/](https://www.worldsgreatestshave.com/fundraisers/)[ ](https://www.worldsgreatestshave.com/fundraisers/)CohunaSecondaryCollege \nAt Cohuna Secondary College we have a very strong social conscience and take seriously the opportunity to do something for young people who have developed childhood cancer. Many of us know someone or a family that this awful disease has affected. Students wore their footy clothes and voluntarily made a gold coin donation to another very worthy cause. The Fight Can- \ncer Foundation’s aim is to “…raise money so kids don’t fight cancer alone”. \nSite: [footycoloursday.com.au](footycoloursday.com.au) \nWe acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Barapa Barapa people, on whose land we attend school. We pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, traditions and culture of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia. \nP A G E 2 \nThank you to all our staff, students and families for their exceptional work and support this term.
