This standard drawing sheetshall include general information used by the Engineer in design. The information provided in the general notes shall be used for supplementing the standard specifications and provide further direction or clarification to the Contractor.  \nInstructions to Designer  \nThe Engineer must determine if the general notes are adequate for the project and, if necessary, make revisions for project specific use. At a minimum, consider the following items:  \n􀀀 Input the seismic design parameters. See instructions on the “General Notes-Seismic Criteria – Supplemental” sheet.  \n􀀀 When Supplemental Design for Low Volume Bridge Replacements is applied, replace Seismic Design Data with Seismic Data for Low Volume Bridges located on the “General Notes-Seismic Criteria – Supplemental” sheet.  \n􀀀 For Beam/Girder and Flat Slab Superstructures, designate the appropriate requirement for Final Finish of exposed concrete surfaces.  \n􀀀 It is not necessary to delete notes that are not applicable.  \n􀀀 Place a double line box around any notes that are added or modified.
