beating beforecardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)was given to him.  \nAn assistant medical officer atthe Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hos-pital(HRPB)Mohammad NorShazree Shahrun Nizam,31,saidhe did CPR on Muhammad Za-harif Affendi because his hearthad stopped beating.He said CPRwas performed by the medicalteam to determine the victim'sheart rhythm and to check for apulse.  \n“When the heart stops,we willcontinue with CPR for about 15  \nminutes,and if after 15 minutesthere is still no heartbeat,we willstop doing CPR.”  \nMohammad Nor Shazree,whois the eighth prosecution witness,said this when cross-examined byDeputy public prosecutorAfzainizam Abdul Aziz on thefourth-day in the trial of DSP Mo-hd Nazri Abdul Razak,who ischarged with the murder of stu-dent Muhammad Zaharif Affen-di.17.on
