The Operating Manual of your instrument represents the Original Operating Instructions. It contains precautionary statements that can prevent personal injury, instrument damage, and loss of data if properly followed. It also describes the modes of operation and principle hardware components of your instrument. In addition, this manual provides step-by-step instructions for cleaning and maintaining your instrument.  \nWhen your new instrument is on site and ready for installation, a certified Thermo Fisher Scientific service representative installs it.  \nNOTICE  \nDo not remove items from the shipping containers—the service engineer unpacks, inspects, and installs the system.  \nAfter arrival, store the instrument as packed by Thermo Fisher Scientific for at least 24 hours at an environmental condition of 15–35 °C and a relative humidity of 20–80%(\u003C30 °C ambient) or 20–60%(≥30 °C ambient) before you connect it to the power supply.  \nOperation  \nRetrieve operating instructions  \nCAUTION  \nThe electrical installation must be made by qualified and skilled personnel (electrician) according to the appropriate regulations (cable cross-sections, fuses, grounding connection, for example) . Refer to the Preinstallation Requirements Guide of your instrument for the specifications.  \n• If frequent but short power failures occur on the installation site, Thermo Fisher Scientific recommends that you install an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) .  \n• If main power failures occur frequently while the system is not attended (in the night, for example), Thermo Fisher Scientific recommends that you install a power failure detector.  \nTo comply with safety and warranty requirements, the instrument and accessories are designed to be used by properly trained personnel only. Any installation, adjustment and repair of this equipment must be carried out only by a certified Thermo Fisher Scientific service representative who is aware of the hazards involved.  \nInstalling or operating the system or one ofits components without reading the related Operating Manuals might lead to personal injury and/or damage to the instrument.  \n• Before you start operating the instrument, refer to the Operating Manual of each installed module for details on potential hazards.  \n• Read, understand, and comply with all safety messages and precautionary statements in the Operating Manual.  \nTo reduce our environmental impact, we have decided to make printed manuals optional.
