For safety reasons, a maximum of 4 people per party will be allowed to hunt together, allowing only  \n2 shooters at any given time. Other guns will be unloaded.  \no All members/guests will sign a liability waiver prior to hunting at the lodge business office.  \no Members are responsible for the actions and conduct of their guests while on the property. Members and guests must follow all safety rules and requirements as listed in the liability waiver.  \no A minimum of 15 quail per hunter for a half-day hunt with a minimum of 30 birds per course will be released. Additional birds can be released at the member’s option.  \no Members and guests must check in before they hunt and before they depart.  \no Hunts must be booked at least 48-hours in advance.  \no A cancellation fee of $100.00 will be charged for each hunting group if cancellation is not received 24-hours prior to the hunt. This is necessary to cover the costs ofthe dogs, guides, accommodations, etc. This does not include inclement weather cancellations.  \no The Sawbriar retains the exclusive right to cancel hunts for weather related reasons. We will make every effort to reschedule dates for hunts cancelled by The Sawbriar.  \no All hunters must be at least 12 years old. All 12-16 year old hunters must be accompanied by a supervising adult, with only one person hunting at a time.  \no Un-hunted birds will not be carried over to the next season or credited to your account. We suggest not waiting until the last month of the season to start hunting as times may not be available.  \no Members are allowed to harvest up to the number of birds, by species, released. You may harvest additional birds found on the courses, at the additional price per bird listed below.  \no If you plan to clean your own birds, please do so off of The Sawbriar property. Feathers and bird parts are a distraction to the dogs and the atmosphere of The Sawbriar.  \no We reserve the right to terminate any hunts and/or memberships for unsafe conduct, breaking Sawbriar rules, State or Federal rule violation, or other reasons deemed reasonable by management without reimbursement to the member.  \no If a dog is shot by your hunting party, you will be required to pay $3,000.00 to the owner of the dog or The Sawbriar at Big South Fork regardless of the extent of injury.
