These include sampling issues, an emphasis on where students are placed as a proxy for inclusive education vis-à-vis inclusive education as the transformation of educational systems, the ways in which outcome measures have been examined in this research, and the need for and challenges of building strategic alliances that could advance an inclusive education agenda. We conclude with reflections and suggestions for a future research program that include sharpening inclusion’s identity, attending to the fluid nature of ability differences and students’ multiple identities, broadening the unit of analysis to systems of activities, and documenting processes and outcomes. \nPalabras clave: educación inclusiva; equidad educativa; discapacidad; diferencia \nPromessas e trajetórias de educação inclusiva: Notas críticas sobre o futuro da investigaçãode uma noção venerável \nResumo: O objetivo deste artigo ","cbCail0MI9YNWy0H","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCail0MI9YNWy0H","pdf",708999,29,"English","# Abstract\n## Conceptual clarity and equity reforms\n## Challenges, paradoxes, and research directions","[{\"question\":\"What is the main purpose of the article?\",\"answer\":\"To provide critical notes on inclusive education research in the U.S., with a focus on conceptual clarity and research implications for future study.\"},{\"question\":\"How does the article describe inclusive education’s interaction with equity-oriented reforms?\",\"answer\":\"It explains that inclusive education interacts with such reforms in ways that can produce disruptions and unintended consequences at their nexus.\"},{\"question\":\"Which challenges does the article emphasize for advancing future research?\",\"answer\":\"It highlights sampling issues, placement being treated as a proxy for inclusion, how outcome measures are examined, and the need for strategic alliances, alongside calls to refine inclusion’s identity and broaden analytical units.\"}]","Inclusive Education’s Promises and Trajectories - Critical Notes about Future Research on a Venerable Idea | PDF",1792093284,73]
