As a former Prosecutor for the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Johnathan managed high-stakes prosecutions that served as critical building blocks in the judicial development of sentencing frameworks. This includes his involvement in PP v Manta Equipment and PP v CPG Facilities Management, pivotal cases where he argued on complex sentencing benchmarks that were eventually resolved by the High Court.Transitioning to defense, Johnathan leverages this deep regulatory insight to mitigate liability for companies and individuals. Notably, in PP v Goh Kee Cher, he successfully secured a fine for a client facing a custodial submission for using a false safety certificate, demonstrating his ability to effectively challenge prosecutorial narratives. \nAbout the Chairperson \nMr. Ashok Kumar Rai-Associate Director, Cairnhill Law LLC","cbCaiotKvVxMPqgc","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiotKvVxMPqgc","pdf",233082,"English","# About this Seminar\n# Seminar Programme\n## Opening Remarks and Main Session\n## Q&A Session\n## Networking Buffet\n# About the Speakers\n# About the Chairperson\n# Continuing Professional Development Details\n# Registration and Fees","[{\"question\":\"What laws are compared in the seminar?\",\"answer\":\"The seminar compares Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Act 2006 with Australia’s Work Health and Safety Act 2011.\"},{\"question\":\"What will Johnathan Lee Kui Bao cover?\",\"answer\":\"He will address the Singapore framework, explaining enforcement priorities, prosecutorial discretion, and common pitfalls for defendants, based on his experience as a former prosecutor.\"},{\"question\":\"What topics will Patrick Barry cover for Australia?\",\"answer\":\"He will outline the Australian regime and share insights on defending companies and individuals in serious workplace safety prosecutions, including what Singapore-based entities need to know when operating in Australia.\"},{\"question\":\"What is included in the seminar programme and how can participants join?\",\"answer\":\"The programme includes registrations and refreshments, opening remarks, the main session, a Q\\u0026A, and a networking buffet.
