The poems move between concrete symptoms and more abstract patterns of thoughts, endless worries, and questions that trouble the anxious mind. will find a selection ofpoetry that focuses mainly on the topic of anxiety.Somedescribe symptoms and feelings, others, more abstract, deal with the thoughts and endless worries and questionsthat so often plague the anxious mind.A few symbolizethings that I wish I could feel or believe. Some may seemout of place, depending upon your interpretation of theircontent, but I believe each one touches on subject matterthat all of us can relate to. \nAs someone who has struggled with GeneralizedAnxiety Disorder,as well as Panic Disorder andDissociation,I recognize much of it in the people aroundme in the world, and I sympathize. While I have founda reasonable balance in my life, even with these issueslurking in the background,I know that there are manyout there who still struggle daily. \nI hope that you will find within, something that youcan relate to and perhaps some inspiration to keep going,to not let your mind get the best of you. This book hasallowed me a chance to put my experiences into wordsin a way that I felt comfortable sharing with the world. \nAlways remember that you are not alone and thatthere is help out there for anyone who needs it,no matterhow bleak things may seem. yet impact, \nIn the time ‘twixt dusk and dawn. \nThe world so bright and loud beneath sunny sky,Now in stark contrast decreased. In the blink of an eye,All pollution now ceased.Surrender self-unto the night,For darkness ought not solicit fear. \nBow head and close eyes,no need for sight, \nEmbrace the unknown and all will become clear. When the mind overflows with thoughts in high stack,Step out of routine. \nReturn to night, reset in the black. In time all things maybe heard,in time all things seen. \n# Overstimulation\n\nEvery sound grinding,Face warm,Head tight,Chest ablaze. \nMust move, can’t sit still.Must do something.Occupy the mind.Redirect. \nNothing works.TV too loud, \nMusic a muddled squeal.Unable to focus.Final nerves smolder.Need to vent. \nWords come out angry and wrong.Explanation sounds the stuff of fiction. \nCraving silence when there is none to be had.Touch like a blowtorch on bare skin.Beg to disappear.Make it stop.","cbCaighrVnndcxL1","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaighrVnndcxL1","pdf",1736449,76,"English","# Peace In Darkness\n# Overstimulation","[{\"question\":\"What is the main focus of the poetry in In
