These days the editor, subeditors and journalists who put the paper together are likely to find themselves in a totally different building or maybe even in a different city. This is the situation which now prevails in Sydney. The daily paper is compiled at the editorial headquarters, known as the prepress centre, in the heart of the city, but printed far away in the suburbs atthe printing centre. Here human beings are in the minority as much of the work is done by automated machines controlled by computers. \nB \nOnce the finished newspaper has been created for the next morning’s edition, all the pages are transmitted electronically from the prepress centre to the printing centre. The system of transmission is an update on the sophisticated page facsimile system already in use on many other newspapers. An imagesetter at the printing centre delivers the pages as film. Each page takes less than a minute to produce, although for colour pages four versions, once each for black, cyan, magenta and yellow are sent. The pages are then processed into photographic negatives and the film is used to produce aluminum printing pl","cbCaiiB74mLuJio4","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiiB74mLuJio4","pdf",894422,33,"English","# General Training Reading Sample Task – Flow-chart Completion\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – Flow-chart Completion (Answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – Identifying Information\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – Identifying Information (Answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – Matching Information\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – Matching Information (Answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – Matching Features\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – Matching Features (Answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – Matching Headings\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – Matching Headings (Answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – Note Completion\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – Note Completion (Answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – Sentence Completion\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – Sentence Completion (Answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – Short-answer Questions\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – Short-answer Questions (Answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – Summary Completion: productive\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – Summary Completion: productive (answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – True, False, Not Given\n## General Training Reading Sample Task – True, False, Not Given (Answers)\n# General Training Reading Sample Task – Flow-chart Completion","[{\"question\":\"What question types are included in the IELTS General Training Reading sample tasks?\",\"answer\":\"The sample tasks cover multiple-choice, identifying information, identifying writer’s views/claims, matching information, matching headings, matching features, matching sentence endings, sentence completion, summary completion, note completion, and completion tasks for tables, flow-charts, and diagram labels, plus short-answer questions.\"},{\"question\":\"How do flow-chart and diagram label completion tasks work in this materials set?\",\"answer\":\"Flow-chart completion and diagram label completion require filling in missing items based on information from the reading passage, typically using instructions and an answer section provided after the task.\"},{\"question\":\"What passage topic is used for the sample task content?\",\"answer\":\"The provided passage is titled “ROBOTS AT WORK” and describes how automated systems and robots are used throughout the newspaper production process, from prepress transmission to printing-centre operations.\"}]","IELTS General Training Reading Sample Tasks 2023 - Test format overview | PDF",83]
