At first, I was hesitant to wear the dress my best friend picked out, but looking at it now, I was glad I did. The ivory dress was short enough to reveal the wedding garter resting on my thigh and tight enough to keep my boobs together. To match, I wore a pair of Louboutin heels.  \nMy hair was forty inches of loose black curls that sprawled down my back, and my makeup was exaggerated, from my lashes to my blush. All of this was out of my normal aesthetic. I wasn’t \"me\" tonight—but then, in a few days, I’d be someone completely different, too: a wife.  \nDamn, I was really getting married. The thought filled me with a mix of nerves and butterflies. I looked around the suite my fiancé had booked forme and smiled. He had filled it with all my favorite snacks along with my\"something blue\" for the wedding—a sapphire necklace. It was beautiful and thoughtful—everything my fiancé was .  \nI grabbed a small bottle of whiskey from the mini-fridge and drank it. I winced and rubbed my chest as it went down my throat. After that shot, I was ready to meet my bridal party. My friends didn’t want me to arrive atthe club alone, but I insisted. I wasn’t a social butterfly, so I needed this time alone.
